Service User Satisfaction

Helping people to make positive changes and get the support they need is at the heart of what we do. In our annual survey in March 2017 we asked everyone who came into our services or used them in the previous 12 months what they thought of them and what difference they made. The results can be found in the right hand column:


We are proud of the positive impacts that we deliver in the community. Some of these are intangible. However, from our audit processes in 2016-17, we know that:

  • We directly supported 1656 people
  • We provided information, signposting and community navigation to over 10,000 people as part of Primary Care Plus
  • We provided 3745 hours of counselling
  • Our Talking Therapies and Wellbeing Services significantly reduced levels of depression and anxiety for 208 people
  • Our Mother Tongue Counselling Service won Westminster’s Neighbourhood Project of the Year award
  • We provided 6761 hours of befriending support
  • 60 people showed marked improvement in their mental health and wellbeing as a result of befriending
  • 33 people were trained and supported to provide befriending
  • We supported 221 people to manage their tenancies and live more independently 
  • 19 people moved on to independent living in the community or more needs appropriate housing
  • We provided  wellbeing and personal development activities to over 580 people across all our hubs
  • 159 people across the three boroughs engaged in our Active Wellbeing programmes
  • 39 people in the Wandsworth Active Wellbeing programme achieved the Chief Medical Officer’s recommended activity levels for improving physical health
  • 29 maintained the recommended activity for more than three months after they completed the programme
  • 90% are keeping up exercise and other regular activities six months after end of programme
  • The average weight reduction was 2.8 kilos
  • 116 people took up and sustained volunteering in the community
  • 10 people entered into paid work
  • 36 people engaged in creative wellbeing through art at Portugal Prints
  • 6 had work shown in large exhibitions at major galleries
  • 3 had art works published
