How We Can Help

Providing Better Opportunities

We provide support for people in Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster, who have had experience of mental health problems, to find and engage in paid work, voluntary work, education or training, or any meaningful activity that improves their quality of life.

Who is it For?

These are free services that can be accessed by anyone with common or severe mental health problems. Anyone can apply directly or be referred by their GP, social worker, care coordinator or another mental health professional.

We will require further information about your needs to ensure that the services are safe and suitable. This will usually include a risk assessment to be completed by a professional who knows you.

Building Better Opportunities in Brent

We aim to support people to build their confidence, self-esteem, improve their communication, life and workplace skills, thereby giving emotional backup as well as practical guidance on all aspects of finding and keeping a job. Targeted work takes place at various locations through Drop In sessions on:

  • Monday 10am to 12pm at our Wellbeing Hub in Harlesden
  • Monday 2pm to 4pm at Wembley library
  • Tuesday 2pm to 4pm at Kilburn Job Centre Plus
