About Portugal Prints

Despite the current coronavirus situation we continue to provide this service within the limitations imposed.

Emergency departments are under unprecedented pressure due to COVID-19 – the illness caused by coronavirus. If you are under a mental health crisis please contact your Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)  for help and advice.

If you are not under a CMHT or you are in crisis out of working hours please call: For Camden and Islington residents call Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust Crisis Line on 020 3317 6333. This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For Westminster, Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon and Kensington and Chelsea residents Single Point of Access line on 0800 0234 650 or by email on [email protected] This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Portugal Prints has been offering friendly and supportive therapeutic art programmes to people with mental health difficulties for over 35 years. We run creative workshops, commercial design and work experience, gallery visits, education, training, volunteering and work opportunities. We help you with your recovery through the therapeutic use of art.

Who is it For?

To access Portugal Prints you will need to have current contact with mental health services (i.e. have a Care Plan Approach) , and a personalised budget.  We welcome people aged 18 or over, living in any London borough. You can apply directly or be referred by your GP, psychiatrist or any other mental health or social care professionals.

If you’d like to visit us and find out more about Portugal Prints we hold free taster sessions on the 1st Wednesday of every month.
