How We Can Help

About Mentally Healthy Universities

Despite the current coronavirus situation we continue to provide this service within the limitations imposed.

Mind in Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster are offering a series of mental health and wellbeing sessions specifically for university students at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), in partnership with national Mind.

These sessions are part of the Mentally Healthy Universities pilot programme, which aims to give students tools and techniques to look after their mental health and wellbeing at university and eventually into the workplace. They will also empower students to seek the right support if they need it during their studies.

The sessions will be delivered at various locations on LSE campus until 2021. Student sessions for the rest of the 2019-20 academic year will be delivered online via Zoom. Students can book onto these sessions via the LSE Careers Hub.

The Mentally Healthy Universities programme will also train LSE faculty members as Staff Champions. This network of Champions will promote mental health awareness and peer support across the School.

You can find further information about the Mentally Healthy Universities programme here and you can find out more about LSE student workshops here.
