New Partnerships
At BWW Mind, we wanted to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the generous support and collaboration of all our partners. To express our thanks, we’d like to provide a spotlight on our new partners who have joined us in giving back. We admire their commitment to mental health awareness and community wellbeing and hope we can build a better understanding of mental health in and out of the workplace.
Hanne & Co Solicitors LLD
Hanne & Co is a renowned law firm in London, specialising in various legal areas, including family law, property, wills and probate, among others. They chose us to be their charity of the year and, through creative fundraising initiatives, they have raised £800 for us so far! Funds have been raised through their annual rounders match, monthly ‘Dress Down Fridays,’ and a UEFA European Championship and coming up is their firm-wide quiz and annual treasure hunt across London. Two of their team members will also be running for us in the London Landmarks Marathon in April.
Wandsworth Prep School
Wandsworth Prep is a small, close-knit community united by a common vision and a strong dedication to excellence. Situated near Wandsworth Common, the school’s location enables children to thrive in beautiful natural surroundings.
We are thrilled to have Wandsworth Prep select us as their charity of the year for a second time. Wandsworth Prep took part in our ‘Tell-a-joke’ campaign, whereby pupils were asked to share their favourite joke with their class during mental health awareness week and bring in a £1 donation. BWW Mind staff also delivered interactive sessions on mental health and the challenges that individuals face in academic and social spaces from a young age. Feedback from the school spokesperson had this to say, “The school raised over £600 over the year to donate to the charity. The kids now recognise the charity as one of our partners and have shared very positive feedback from the session that the charity representatives held at assembly… It is amazing to work with a charity that provides mental health support to the local community”.
Eddie
We are very excited to be working closely with a writer, a director and their team who are creating a play about mental health, breaking stigmas, and highlighting the value of peer support. The project, named “Eddie”, is an absurdist play about a young rapper navigating his mental health struggles on the London Underground. As Eddie encounters strange characters, his growing paranoia blurs the line between his inner and outer worlds. He dives deeper into this reality, unsure if there’s a way out. The play explores the pressures on young people today, highlighting the tension between self and the universe. We feel honoured to be able to collaborate with them to provide support, secure funding, and promote the project. Watch this space for updates!
Deecon Consulting
We are truly honoured to be working closely with Deecon Consulting who are helping us to project manage a big change on the horizon. Their consultants and Managing Director are providing us with pro bono support – their expertise has been invaluable already and we are learning from their approaches which is a great development for our organisation and staff. Huge thanks to Deecon! https://www.deeconconsulting.com/
So thank you to every single one of our partners, because of you, we can continue to make a real difference in the lives of those in our community facing mental health challenges. Your belief in our mission helps us create a more compassionate, understanding world, one where no one has to face their struggles alone.
