The Fig Tree Gardening Club provides a friendly safe space for people to come together to engage in therapeutic gardening activities and enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air.

This project is delivered in partnership with Look Ahead

About the project

Based on the principles of social and therapeutic horticulture, this weekly group will offer participants the opportunity to learn how to maintain a garden that supports a wide variety of plants and wildlife, whilst becoming more mindful of ways to improve wellbeing. Participants will learn about conservation and develop horticulture skills including how to grow a wide range of flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs. The activities will be relaxed and will allow participants to engage at a level that feels right for them.

The project will take place at Look Aheads Beethoven Street garden, a beautiful green haven in the North of Westminster, and will be delivered by a friendly and experienced therapeutic horticulture practitioner.
